burnout to balance
The Burnout to Balance Blog is my journey of navigating years of burnout and how I’m healing along the way.
This blog is an ongoing journey. It’s the moments of recognizing the signs, the learning, unlearning and everything in between.
After leaving my full-time job, I thought the burnout I was experiencing would just go away. I thought that with having so much space in my schedule to pursue my business, I would be ready to jump right in. What I wasn’t prepared for, was the return of years of exhaustion I pushed aside that suddenly returned to the surface. That was when I realized that burnout isn’t something that can be fixed, but something that must be healed. This blog is a window into my journey of healing burnout and tools that provided relief along the way.

you’ll never feel caught up if you don’t let yourself get caught up

underneath my burnout is a tablespoon of embarrassment

quitting the memory of a job is almost as hard as actually quitting

one of the hardest things about navigating burnout is feeling like no one believes you

on the other side of not giving up

i’ve been on a time crunch marathon for going on a month

i don’t know who needs to hear this but you’re not a failure for feeling burnt out in your business

the importance of having a day with no plans

wait, rushing isn’t the default? (part 2)
who knew a different pace was possible?

wait, so rushing isn’t the default? (part 1)
what does it mean to actually take your time?

it took me a long time to start seeing my business as my job
when the side gig becomes the main gig

i think the best way to describe it is “in it”

i guess you’re wondering how I got here.
what’s the difference between extra overwhelmed and “normal” overwhelmed?
