My Why

I’ve always had a lot on my plate. From being a theatre kid from an early age to balancing full time work and grad school, I stayed busy – and that’s how I thought I liked it. It wasn’t until my body started telling me to slow down that I saw that as an option. I spent many years of my life on autopilot, feeling like “I just have to make it through _______ and then I can rest.” After experiencing extended periods of burnout, I realized it was time to find my own flow. I started to recognize that always having plans and stacking my schedule no longer aligned with me. But breaking that cycle felt easier said than done.

I designed this course when I was navigating the transition of releasing my people-pleasing habits. These are the habits that led me to stay in unfulfilling relationships, fill my schedule to avoid disappointing others and kept me in a cycle of burnout. Feeling Seen is my journey of weaving together energetic healing with meditation and journaling practices that supported me to make the aligned shifts that were needed to follow my highest path. And I look forward to being a part of journey too.
