Reiki + Energy Healing Sessions
Reiki is a Japanese holistic healing method that promotes relaxation and harmony in the mind, body and spirit. There’s a Universal Life Force that animates us all, and through tapping into this energy we can experience restored vitality, energy and remove blockages in the body that prevent energy from flowing freely. While some feel immediate shifts during or after their sessions, Energy healing can be a slow medicine that takes time to unfold.
What does an energy healing session with Antha look like?
Reiki sessions are an intuitive experience that is different for each person. We’ll begin by discussing the theme that is present in your life. By observing and connecting with discomfort in your body, Antha then guides you into a meditative state and practices a combination of the following modalities during your session:
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that promotes physical, emotional and energetic harmony. By channeling and awakening the Universal Life energy that flows through us all, Antha intuitively guides the energy to different areas of the body.
Energetic Cord-Cutting
You may feel that you’re still connected to someone or something from your past that is still hooked into your energetic field. Cord-cutting is the process of releasing and dissolving energetic attachments that may unknowingly impact your life.
Visualization
Visualization is a powerful tool for connecting with and integrating energetic shifts. Antha guides you through visualization that encourage relaxation, clear stagnant energy and release blockages that impact you on a physical and emotional level.
Sound Healing
Sound healing is a gentle way to shift and re-balance the physical and energetic body. Antha intuitively selects the singing bowls and instruments for the session to hold space each clients unique needs.

Before your session you can reflect on any themes that are present in your life that may no longer serve you or a specific event you want to shift or release.
Wear something that feels comfortable such as loose clothing, leggings, sweatpants - anything that you can relax in! You'll also want to bring a water bottle, journal and pen. Often during a session a lot of energy is moving and staying hydrated helps to support your body. It's also nice to have a journal nearby in case anything comes through for you that you would like to remember after your session.

During your session, Antha will guide you into a meditative state and offer tools to support you while the energy shifts occur in your body. Your only task during the session is to be open to seeing the emotions that arise without judgement.

After your session, it’s important to ground and support your physical and energetic body through the shifts. Be sure to drink plenty of water to allow the energy to continue to flow.

I acknowledge that the foundation of the energy healing that I practice is Reiki. Reiki is a healing practice that is indigenous to Japan and is much more than what happens over the course of one session. Because neither my cultural nor ancestral backgrounds are Japanese, I recognize that I am a guest in this space. I have immense gratitude for Dr. Mikao Usui, the first teacher of Reiki, Sensei Chujiro Hayashi and Sensei Hawayo Takata who were integral in introducing Reiki training to the West.
