slow down is your opportunity to find a different pace. Through practicing walking meditation, you notice the details you usually pass by. Through walking meditation we practice conscious movement by building awareness within and around our bodies.
Before the walk we'll practice Pranayama, or yogic breath, techniques to expand the lungs and find balance before beginning the walk. The walking meditation will last about 30-40 minutes. This is a space for contemplation, for deep listening to your body's inner wisdom. A majority of the walk will be silent to allow space for reflection. At the end of the walk there'll be space to integrate and share experiences if anyone feels called.
We'll meet starting at 6:25pm and begin walking at 6:35.
